What is the nature of God?

The Trinity is composed of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are all equally God, and all eternal.
The Father is Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
Jesus is fully God and fully man. As such, he is unique in history and the only way for humanity to be saved. He lived a perfect life, died, was resurrected bodily, and ascended to the throne of God. As promised, he will return.
The Holy Spirit is God. He is presently, powerfully active in the life of believers just as he was in scripture.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation. The Holy Spirit administers spiritual gifts to those baptized in the Holy Spirit as he sees fit.

What is the nature of the world?

God is the Creator of all things and as the Creator, he is the rightful owner of all. God created all things good and remains intimately involved with Creation.
What is the nature of humanity?

Humanity was created by God to declare God’s glory and to be God’s representatives in caring for and filling creation with culture. And it was very good.
We are all sinners. By choice and chance, by birth and behavior, by omission and commission we all sin. While we were created good in the image of God, due to sin, we are fallen, corrupt, and separated from our Creator and are in need of salvation.
How do we participate in God's redemptive plan for creation?

Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works. It is wholly by God’s grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, that through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross at Calvary, sinners obtain the remission of sin.
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward grace. We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in order to fulfill the command of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Gifts of the Spirit, as defined in Scripture, are given to followers of Christ for the edification and joy of the local church. We seek their current expression in our lives, gatherings, and expressions of grace to our city.
The local church is God’s instrument on earth to fulfill the Great Commission through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The universal Church describes the body of Christ globally, but it is made of local churches called to geographic communities for local impact.

We teach that the local church should be at the center of our lives as Christians. We seek to involve every generation in the building of a vibrant church that impacts our community, and fulfills Jesus’ purpose on the earth.

How do we come to know God and God's plan for creation?

The Bible is composed of the 66 books of the official canon and is the inspired word of God which holds final and total authority in all matters to which it speaks.
